About Plancorp

Joyce Henderson, firm Principal, founded Plancorp to fill the void that existed in understanding the multitude of tasks related to accomplishing business relocations. Delays and inconvenience were typical of moves.

Joyce gained first-hand knowledge of the complexities of moving while working as senior management for health care and non-profit organizations where she was frequently designated as the lead planner for relocation activities. Eventually she developed her own system for successfully planning and managing move projects.

That experience, coupled with the skills she honed in a second career as an independent consultant specializing in strategic planning, inspired her to found Plancorp in 1984.

Joyce assumes primary responsibility for developing the Move Plan then selects from a team of Project Associates to use their expertise and background to assist in implementing various aspects of the Move Plan.

Ms. Henderson received a BS degree from California State University, San Francisco. She is an active volunteer with VNA Hospice, on the Board of Goodwill Industries of Southern California and formerly with the State Bar of California.
